This trip will be led by Alice Kettle, Scotland rep for Surfers Against Sewage and inventor of the NurdKit, a toolkit designed to facilitate easier removal of plastic nurdles from beaches, whilst also educating and highlighting the larger issue of plastic marine waste. We will be searching for marine plastics and learning about the issue onboard, while exploring the stunning islands around Mull on Scotland’s West coast.

We will be actively looking for plastic pollution in the ocean first hand and searching for solutions to the problem. What can we all, as individuals and as communities, do about it?
