Kate is a Research Fellow in the Centre for Water Systems at the University of Exeter. She is a co-founder of Intrepid Explorers, a platform for students and researchers to share their experiences from field research, with the aim of inspiring current and future generations to support and advance fieldwork-based science. Kate is an ecologist in residence for Sail Britain, co-leading our microplastics research projects.
