Wild Wales

11 – 18th June, Milford Haven to Holyhead, £750

The coastline of Wales will be teeming with wildlife at this time of year, with the bird colonies of Skomer and Skokholm in full raucus swing as we set sail around the stunning coast of Pembrokeshire. The Welsh coast is a new adventure for Sail Britain, and offers a combination of majestic scenery and abundant wildlife as well as a good amount of offshore sailing as we cross Cardigan Bay towards the mountains of Snowdonia.

As we round the Lleyn Peninsula and the island of Ynys Enlli, we’ll have a chance to explore some of the coves of Anglesey before finishing in Holyhead.

This is definitely a week for wildlife lovers, but also those wanting some more adventurous coastal sailing with a couple of longer days at sea.

The trip fee covers the cost of the boat, crew, all equipment and training you’ll need onboard, as well as food, fuel and gas for the week. Not included is your travel to and from the start/end points of the voyage and any expenses ashore, although these tend to very limited out in the wilds!
